Create Detailed Reports by Simply Asking Questions

image description

What if you could ask a question of your data? This challenge is what inspired us to create Indicee.

Indicee Solution Software simplifies report creation by using plain English instead of complex field names. You create reports using terms such as “sales”, “units” or “customers” that are specific to your business. The Indicee application displays the results as a table, chart or graph and saves it as a report.

Ask Questions

Start by asking a question. Choose the data you want to see by selecting from a list of familiar business items. Questions are in three sections. “Show”: choose the numerical data to display such as sales or units or both. “How”: choose how you want the data organized, such as by customer, production or month. “Filter”: filter out what you don’t want to see or add complex filters with a couple of clicks.

Create Reports

Turn your question into a report by clicking “save” and giving it a name. With a few clicks you can fine tune reports by choosing different graph or chart formats, adding sub-totals, changing the sort order or adding labels. Indicee reports are dynamic; when new data is uploaded your reports are updated automatically. Indicee reports are interactive; explore your data by drilling, sorting or changing the original question.

Indicee reports are interactive. From your monthly sales by customer report you can easily drill in to see what products each customer purchased or filter to see just your top customers. Have a couple reports that answer a question? Pull them together into an Indicee dashboard.

Add to a Dashboard

It usually takes more than one report or chart to solve a problem or communicate business results. Indicee software lets you create simple dashboards by combining up to four reports in a single dashboard view. You can create a dashboard with a bar chart of revenue by year and a pie chart showing your product mix. Dashboards are interactive; clicking on a chart will take you to the original report. Dashboards are automatically updated when new data is uploaded.
